Econotech Services of Vancouver announces that Dr. Hossein Lohrasebi has joined the company as manager – pulping and bleaching.
Lohrasebi has a Master’s degree in wood science from the University of Toronto and a Ph.D. in wood and pulping chemistry from the University of British Columbia. He has developed programs and curriculum for B.Sc. and M.Sc. programs in wood chemistry, pulping and paper making as well as supervising undergraduate and graduate students. Mill experience comes from his role as a fibre line process engineer with Canfor Pulp, Prince George and the project and program responsibilities as environmental department manager with Weyerhaeuser, Grande Prairie.
Lohrasebi will provide additional pulping expertise and project management skills to Econotech’s contract pulping and bleaching project services.
