New Pig: The spill-mop is equipped with disposable heads

TIPTON, PA — New Pig has introduced the PIG Spill-Mop, a quick sanitary way to clean up oil- and water-based spills and other leftover residue on floors. The mop’s disposable heads completely eliminate the need for smelly mops and dirty water, and thus prevent cross-contamination caused by repeated use. “[It] is a fast, sanitary way to clean up a spill,” said Ben Staplefeld, New Pig chairman. “The mop heads are disposable, so they’re ideal for cleaning up contaminated liquids.” As well, the mop won’t leak or drip, even when fully saturated. The specially formulated absorbent draws liquids into an absorbent core, where they are instantly turned into a no-drip gel and locked into the mop head. The mop is available as an integrated wall station or a portable bag kit — both containing everything needed to attack a spill.
