May 15, 2018  By P&PC staff

May 15, 2018 – Xplore Technologies has introduced a new six-inch, handheld Android device, meeting the needs of an evolving mobile workforce that demands compact, rugged design.

The Xplore M60 is the company’s first ever six-inch handheld device. Unlike other personal devices, the Xplore M60 can be dropped in dirt, left in a hot vehicle during the summer, forgotten in a freezer, accidentally dropped in a toilet, and more. It will continue to operate and comes with a 22-hour, user-replaceable battery.

Other features include:

• The M60’s scratch-resistant six-inch View Anywhere™ display is one of the biggest and brightest glove/wet touch screens to be found on a handheld mobile device, making it easy to view in direct sunlight or in dimly lit factories/warehouse floors.

• Featuring an enterprise-ready Android OS, the M60 offers a variety of voice, email and app-based communications channels for workers to stay in touch with teams, back-office systems and customers in real-time.

• The M60 is available with an optional barcode scanner that manufacturing workers can use with a single click to scan barcodes and NFC tags while on the go.
