United States -Metso Paper has installed new technology at three of its American roll service centres to strengthen their service production capabilities. Their Neenah, Wis. facility recently received a large capacity roll grinder with sophisticated 3D grind capabilities. New rubber extruders featuring the latest single pass technology have been installed and started up at Metso’s Clarks Summit, Pa and Aiken, S. C. facilities as well. According to Metso Paper, the new technology will allow them to produce high quality roll surface finishing and rubber cover products with the fastest turnaround time possible.
