Minas Basin Pulp and Paper received the Nova Scotia Bay of Fundy Business Partnership Award for its achievements in recycling and surpassing current environmental standards for paper mills.
Given by the Gulf of Maine Council, the award cited the Hantsport-based mill’s amazing achievement of producing 70,000 tonnes of paperboard per year without cutting trees.
