Next week, Neenah Paper will meet with Buchanan Forest Products to try and hammer out the details of a transfer deal.
In early May, Neenah Paper confirmed it entered into a tentative agreement with Buchanan concerning the transfer of its Terrace Bay pulp mill and woodlands operations. A June 1 deadline was set, by which time, labour negotiations between Buchanan and mill and woodlands employees were to be resolved. At this point, an agreement with mill employees has been reached, however, an accord with woodlands workers has yet to be attained.
