PAPTAC has announced that Paul Stuart of École Polytechnique de Montréal will succeed Honghi Tran as chief scientific editor of the association’s technical journal J-FOR. Stuart was previously deputy editor of J-FOR and ensures a natural leadership progression for the journal. Patrice Mangin, CRML/UQTR and PAPTAC councilor, will take on the duties of deputy editor.
“PAPTAC and J-FOR are privileged to count of the involvement of expert volunteers of this calibre and notoriety, which reflects on the success and growth J-FOR has had since its inauguration,” noted Greg Hay, PAPTAC director.
Hay thanked Honghi Tran for his work and leadership in helping to establish J-FOR as a peer-reviewed journal for forest products science and technology.
