June 21, 2018 – Paul Andre is the new president and CEO of Workplace Safety North which provides Ontario-wide, ministry-approved workplace health and safety training and services for the mining and forest products industries, as well as for businesses across Northern Ontario.

Andre served as vice-president of prevention services at WSN since 2010, and has been acting president and CEO since June 2017.

“I believe the strength of WSN is rooted in its people and our ability evolves to meet a constantly changing occupational health and safety landscape,” he said. “We continue to anticipate and be responsive to provincial occupational health and safety needs, and as the only safe workplace association physically located in the north, with our staff located across the vast geography of Northern Ontario, WSN is uniquely positioned to support the resource-based sector, and the community-based businesses of northern Ontario.”
