Buckman announces paper chemicals price increase
December 4, 2018 – Buckman, a company specializing in chemical solutions, has announced global price increases for its paper division.
The increases are being driven by rising raw materials, constraints from supply chain tightness and growing challenges associated with freight costs.
The price increases will be effective January 1, 2019, or as contracts allow.
Below is a breakdown of the expected increases across each product lines. In addition to product price increases, Buckman will implement freight delivery increases in certain regions as required.
• Coagulants: 10 - 15 per cent
• Flocculants: 10 - 20 per cent
• Defoamers: 5 - 15 per cent
• Biocides: 5 - 15 per cent
• Alkaline cleaners: 10 - 20 per cent
The company says these price adjustments will enable Buckman to continue to provide its customers the quality service, products and technologies.
