Leslie T. Lederer, chairman of the board said, “His extensive knowledge and understanding of corporate strategy, finance and management dealings will add a valuable perspective to the company.”
Mr. Raymond retired in May 2014 from Stikeman Elliott as a partner. He served as chair of the firm from 2006 to 2012 and as a member of the partnership board and the executive committee from 1997 to 2012. His practice focused primarily on public mergers and acquisitions, securities regulation and corporate finance.
Catalyst Paper manufactures specialty mechanical printing papers, newsprint and pulp at three locations in British Columbia.
