March 23, 2017  By P&PC Staff

Mar. 23, 2017 – Catalyst has launched Bistro, describing it as a diverse line of uncoated food service papers.

Produced at the FDA-compliant Powell River mill in B.C., Bistro Wax, Bistro Foil and Bistro Bag, the first entrants to its Bistro line, are “specially-designed” bleached grades for a range of food service applications, including wrappers, basket liners, deli papers, and flat and pinch bottom bags.

Available in 15 to 40 pound basis weights (lbs. per 3,000 ft2), the brands are U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) compliant and sustainably produced with available chain-of-custody certification under both the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFCTM) and Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) standards.
