Catalyst debuts Bistro line of food service papers

Mar. 23, 2017 – Catalyst has launched Bistro, describing it as a diverse line of uncoated food service papers.

Produced at the FDA-compliant Powell River mill in B.C., Bistro Wax, Bistro Foil and Bistro Bag, the first entrants to its Bistro line, are “specially-designed” bleached grades for a range of food service applications, including wrappers, basket liners, deli papers, and flat and pinch bottom bags.

Available in 15 to 40 pound basis weights (lbs. per 3,000 ft²), the brands are U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) compliant and sustainably produced with available chain-of-custody certification under both the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFCTM) and Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) standards.
