Domtar’s John Williams to discuss sustainability in business at PaperCon 2011

Williams will talk about Domtar’s business approach and the integral role sustainability plays in its activities.

Domtar is the largest integrated manufacturer and marketer of uncoated freesheet paper in North America and the second largest in the world. Sustainable growth is at the forefront of its business approach as demonstrated by its commitment to continuous improvement and third-party certification throughout the supply chain. Williams has more than 30 years of experience in both the consumer products and packaging industry.

PaperCon is North America’s largest pulp and paper conference, bringing together industry leaders and technical experts from around the world.  In 2011, the theme is “Rethink Paper:  Lean and Green”, highlighting new ways to improve efficiency, use less water, fibre and air, and achieve operational excellence.
