Miura Boilers names new national accounts manager

July 9, 2019  By P&PC Staff

July 9, 2019 – Miura Boilers has added Ed Verderose to its team as national accounts manager.

Verderose, who began his career in 1987 as a field engineer for a firetube boiler manufacturer and more recently has held positions as VP, engineered sales and director of operations for major industrial contracting and HVAC companies, will work with businesses and facilities who have multiple locations in the U.S. market. He will also serve the Canadian market as needed.

“My objective is to unite the efforts and enhance the communications of Miura’s regional and local representatives supporting these accounts,” says Verderose. “For example, by coordinating policies that support best practices, a facility in Florida can take advantage of the experience of a sister facility in Indiana. After successful implementation and vetting, other facilities may follow suit, substantially reducing the learning curve, minimizing exposure and increasing efficiency across the entire system.”

In his 30-plus years in the industry, Verderose has accumulated knowledge and experience in steam boiler plant design engineering, construction and equipment manufacturing, ASME fabrication, maintenance and repairs, as well as team management skills.

“Joining Miura as the U.S. national accounts manager will give me an opportunity to help the company strengthen the outstanding relationships it respects with its largest customers,” says Verderose. “That’s something I’m really looking forward to.”

Miura manufactures on-demand steam solutions, with more than 140,000 units in operation worldwide.
