Resolute sending lumber to storm-battled Texas

Aug. 29, 2017 – Resolute Forest Products has promised to send a rail car of lumber to Houston to aid the rebuilding efforts in Texas following unprecedented flooding.

“Sometimes it’s really important to put politics aside and just deal with real-world need. And that’s what we’re doing. And we encourage others to follow,” Seth Kursman, a vice president with Resolute Forest Products, told The Canadian Press.
