The HS valves control the feed to the six modules on the primary pulp cleaners. The valves are not easily accessible and this posed a problem for seeing whether they were open or closed. To improve the situation, a flag was attached to the plate, showing the valve position. This gadget can be used for all aerial valves where it is difficult to see their position.
