LIVINGSTON, NJ — Franklin Miller Inc. has developed a wastewater system — the Dimminutor — that screens and shreds oversized wastewater particles in open channels without the need for secondary devices for solids removal or transfer. As the company describes it, “With its high capacity and low power consumption, the Dimminutor provides a convenient, dependable and cost-effective solution for wastewater particle size reduction.” The system can process up to 25 million gallons per day. The unit is fabricated of ground steel plate and uses oversized tapered roller bearings for accurate rotation with low deflection. It is designed for channel width sizes between 12-in. and 42-in.
