U.S. will proceed with countervailing duty on supercalendered paper

A ruling by the U.S. International Trade Commission confirms that a countervailing duty of up to 20 per cent will be applied to supercalendered paper products from Port Hawkesbury Paper, Resolute Forest Products, Catalyst Paper and Irving Pulp & Paper. Ensyn receives key regulatory approval for cellulosic gasoline

Canadian biofuels developer Ensyn has been granted a key regulatory approval from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for its renewable gasoline product, RFGasoline. This drop-in transportation fuel is created by processing Ensyn’s liquid cellulosic feedstock with customary petroleum feedstocks in conventional petroleum refineries. >> Read full article
