In a move that will mark its position as the largest specialty box plant in Canada, Norampac is investing $17.5 million in two of its corrugated products converting facilities.

Norampac recently ratified a new three-year agreement with the Independent Paperworker’s Union at its Etobicoke Division, permitting the company to move ahead with the expenditure. The money will go directly to the Etobicoke and St. Mary’s divisions, with the bulk of the investment, $13.5 million, to Etobicoke.

This investment project is in addition to the more than $70 million that the company has invested in its Ontario box plants over the last four years.
