Two of Norampac’s boxboard manufacturing mills in Quebec are now FSC certified. The company’s East Angus and Jonquire facilities received their certification from SGS, a registered certifier for the Forest Stewardship Council.

The certification places the East Angus mill as the first boxboard manufacturer to receive the FSC-100% recycled certification in North America. The Jonquire facility has received FSC-mixed certification for a number of its products including ArctiKoat and Supercycle. The designation is awarded to producers that manufacture their products from both recycled and virgin fibres.
