Norampac’s Jean Houde joins PAPTAC executive council

Jean Houde will be putting his diversified knowledge of mill operations and management to use on the PAPTAC executive council. Houde is the regional general manager for the Containerboard division of Norampac, a division of Cascades Canada ULC.

Jean Houde will be putting his diversified knowledge of mill operations and management to use on the PAPTAC executive council. Houde is the regional general manager for the Containerboard division of Norampac, a division of Cascades Canada ULC.

He holds a Master’s degree in pulp and paper from UQTR and a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Ottawa University. Houde has expertise in operations and management in the containerboard, folding carton and deinking sectors, as well as in R&D. He has worked for Norampac and Cascades, and in the R& D sector for Domtar and Natural Resources Canada (CANMET).

Houde has been a member of PAPTAC since 1997. He says he is proud to take on a key role within the association and to join PAPTAC’s executive council to share his knowledge and experience.
