The months of September and October will be slightly slower ones for four of Norbord’s plants. The company has confirmed that its oriented strand board operations in Jefferson, TX, Cordele, GA, Guntown, MS and Bemidji, MN will take a combined total of 37 days downtime to work on scheduled maintenance projects.

The shutdowns will culminate in the loss of roughly 42 million square feet of production.
