British Columbia’s top court has extended Northern Pulp’s creditor protection until April 30.

The Chronicle Herald reports that the approval from B.C. Supreme Court justice Shelley Fitzpatrick came down Dec. 11.

The Nova Scotia–based Northern Pulp expects its loans from B.C.–based parent company Paper Excellence will last until June.
