Omya adds four calcium carbonate plants

Imerys has sold four industrial sites producing calcium carbonate for the paper market to Omya. Announced last fall, the transaction was completed at the end of January.

The four facilities are dedicated to the paper market. They are located in France (Sainte-Croix de Mareuil), in Sweden (Köping), in Italy (Massa) and in the United States (Kimberly).

Imerys states that the facilities had revenue of approximately €75 million in 2012.
