The annual PAPTAC Midwest Branch meeting and trade show was held in Thunder Bay, ON, from Sept. 24 to 26, where delegates were treated to several sessions regarding the latest technologies, a president’s panel discussing how to succeed in a changing world, and a trade show with 50 exhibitors.
Chairman Ajoy Chaterjee, Bowater, Thunder Bay, ON, expressed his delight in welcoming the delegates and exhibitors yet again this year, and in putting up a panel composed of (L-R) a company CEO (Abitibi-Consolidated’s John Weaver), a mill town mayor (David Canfield, City of Kenora), a union president (Brian Payne, national president of Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union), a regional chief (Ontario Regional Chief Charles Fox) and a university president (Lakehead University’s Fred Gilbert).
