Richard Garneau, chief financial officer of Norampac, will depart from his present position to serve as senior VP of Domtar’s Forest Products Group.

Hendrik Tee, chief financial officer and executive director of Asia Pulp and Paper has resigned and will be replaced by Hiroshi Tadano, former banker with the Sumitomo Bank and PT Bank International Indonesia.

Bowater Incorporated announced the promotion of Harry F. Geair to vice president – general counsel. He will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of the legal functions for Bowater.

Mary Beth Nickolich has been named Western Carolina area manager for Weyerhaeuser Company. She will be responsible for forest management and stewardship on more than 140,000 acres of Weyerhaeuser forestland in South Carolina and western North Carolina.

ABB’s board of directors announced that Jrgen Dormann, chairman, will assume operational leadership of the ABB Group. Jrgen Centerman has resigned as ABB president and CEO and as a member of the board.

Forestweb, Inc. announced the addition of Bill Bradley, a partner at Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP, to Forestweb’s advisory board.

Peter Brushaber of Motion Industries, Inc., was promoted to controller of Motion Canada. In addition, he will continue his responsibilities as tax manager for Motion Industries.

Longview Fibre Company has named Richard H. “Rick” Wollenberg as CEO of the company effective November 1, 2002. He will continue as president of Longview Fibre. Wollenberg will be replacing his father, Richard P. Wollenberg, who will continue as chairman of the board.

Ronda McCullar is the new market development manager, infrastructure and commercial outdoor group. She will be responsible for marketing, product launches, market development and research, trade shows, among others.
