Hurricane Frances, the storm that ravaged Florida, leaving an estimated $10 billion in damages in its wake, has caught the attention of countless donors, Georgia-Pacific being one of them. In a philanthropic effort to provide victims with essential everyday paper products, the company donated commodities such as paper towels and bathroom tissue to victims of the storm. Georgia-Pacific also shipped extra retail supplies of commodity-grade plywood into affected areas.
