Pierre Lapointe has been appointed president and chief executive officer of Pointe-Claire, Que.-based FPInnovations, effective Dec. 1. He succeeds Ian de la Roche, whose term recently expired.

Pierre Lapointe has been appointed president and chief executive officer of Pointe-Claire, Que.-based FPInnovations, effective Dec. 1. He succeeds Ian de la Roche, whose term recently expired.

Lapointe recently headed the Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS) and managed its integration with the Institut Armand-Frappier.
