Pope & Talbot has completed its acquisition of the Fort St. James sawmill. Located in the northern interior of BC, the facility boasts an annual capacity of 250 million board feet of spruce, pine and fir lumber production. It also underwent a rebuild in 1999.

The addition will boost Pope & Talbot’s total lumber production capacity over one billion board feet annually at five mills.
