MISSISSAUGA, ON — Weber Marking Systems of Canada has added a new high-resolution ink-jet coding system to its line of bar-coding printers. The LegiJet ML500 incorporates a fully addressable 500-nozzle print head that produces text, logos and other graphics at heights up to 2.8-inches in four colors – black, blue, red and green. Among the unit’s features is an ability to print single- and two-dimensional bar-codes on cartons with 188-dpi clarity at speeds up to 180 ft/min. Typeface sizes range from five points (0.06-inch) to 280 points (2.8-inch).
