Printing & writing down; overseas sales up

The Pulp and Paper Products Council said North American printing and writing paper demand was down 3.6% in August.

The Pulp and Paper Products Council said North American printing and writing paper demand was down 3.6% in August.
Shipments dropped 5.8% in August and 1.6% year-to-date.
However, sales overseas grew 30% over the same month last year, for an increase of 16% so far this year.
