STORA ENSO MACHINE REBUILD

ROCKTON, IL — Stora Enso North America has started up a major rebuild of its #16 wood-free coated paper machine in Wisconsin. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries furnished the rebuild with a new MH headbox, MH former and press dryer modifications and a pre-coating unit. Sheet properties, an increased range of basis weight and amplified production and on-machine pre-coating were provided by the rebuild. MHI also dispensed the required support resources for the rebuild project, both prior to and post startup.
