Spanish paper producer SAICA, Zaragoza, has beaten its own world record with its PM 9. The new speed record was achieved between February 10th and 11th, 2005, when the machine produced corrugating medium with a basis weight of 75 g/m2 at 1,424 m/min and an efficiency of 96.6%. A new production record was also achieved on the PM 9, with 35,000 tonnes of saleable paper.
