Samsung Canada and FSC Canada partner to protect and preserve Canadian forests

Celebrating Earth Month this April, Samsung Canada is partnering with the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Canada to launch a new fundraising campaign in support of FSC Canada’s mission to protect healthy and resilient forests in Canada.

Throughout the month of April, Samsung Canada will donate $1 to FSC Canada, up to a maximum of $10,000 CAD, for every purchase made in-store and online at Samsung.com. In addition, through June 2023, for each review that Canadians leave on Samsung’s website (whether positive or negative), the company will donate an additional $10 to FSC Canada, up to a maximum of $6,000 CAD.

“At Samsung Canada, we recognize the responsibility we share to help protect our environment and try to create a more sustainable future for all,” said Jennifer Groh, senior director of corporate citizenship and communications for Samsung Canada. “Together with FSC Canada, we are helping to create and preserve healthy and resilient forests.”

As a recognized, trusted and rigorous forest certification system, FSC’s labels verify that products have been sourced responsibly and sustainably through all elements of the supply chain, helping brands and consumers work together to help protect the future of forests.
