Toronto: The SKF Group announced today that effective February 1, 2008, Mr. Joao Ricciarelli has been appointed President of SKF Canada Limited. Mr. Ricciarelli has held various executive management responsibilities within SKF, most recently in Europe being responsible for Key Account Management and Reliability Systems sales growth. His background includes Executive Level Strategic Growth responsibilities, Key Account Management and Reliability Systems Division responsibilities.<br>

Mr. Ricciarelli is succeeding Mr. Jan Lindhe who has enjoyed a 40 year career with SKF in several different countries, including the past 17 years as President of SKF Canada.<br>
<br>
Mr. Ricciarelli is the seventh President in the 90 year history of SKF Canada. SKF Canada was founded in 1914 and has five operating platforms of: bearings, seals, lubrication, services and mechatronics.<br>
