CHICAGO, IL — Smurfit-Stone Container Corporation announced it has created an alliance with Daymon Worldwide, the world’s leading company specializing in the sales and marketing of private label consumer products.
The alliance was formed in support of Smurfit-Stone’s merchandising solutions strategy to unite the company’s wide array of North American products and services with a network of service partners. Leveraging the complimentary expertise of each organization will bring unique benefits and innovative solutions to customers worldwide.
Under the terms of the relationship, Daymon will serve as Smurfit-Stone’s primary resource for brand management, development and positioning, as well as graphic design services. In turn, Smurfit-Stone will support Daymon with packaging manufacturing, production art, photography, graphic management and pre-press services.
Commenting on the newly formed alliance, Lane Hunter, senior vice president and general manager of Smurfit-Stone’s i2i business, said, "We are pleased to announce our relationship with a company as successful and respected as Daymon Worldwide.
