Software provider MAJIQ makes changes to management team

MAJIQ Inc., a developer of software solution for the pulp and paper industry, has announced the promotion of James (Jim) Rauch to vice-president, software development. Rauch will focus on software delivery for MAJIQ.

MAJIQ Inc., a developer of software solution for the pulp and paper industry, has announced the promotion of James (Jim) Rauch to vice-president, software development. Rauch will focus on software delivery for MAJIQ.

With this move, MAJIQ formally splits the responsibility of software delivery and product management of its Elixir product into two roles. This will allow MAJIQ to focus on continuing to deliver functionally deep and robust versions of Elixir while also looking forward to the next generation of software solutions.

Patrick Nazzaro, formerly vice-president of software research & development, will transition to the role of vice-president, product development. Nazzaro will focus on the strategic vision and future roadmap for MAJIQ’s Elixir® product.

Rauch has a deep engineering background, and since joining MAJIQ in 1999, has become an expert on developing enterprise-level software solutions for the pulp and paper industry.
