Resolute v. Greenpeace: new developments

The Ontario Superior Court has rejected the admission of multiple allegations from Resolute Forest Products Inc. as part of the company’s defamation lawsuit against Greenpeace.

The court ruled that Resolute’s claims about Greenpeace were an attempt to expand the scope of the lawsuit to include an inquiry into the environmental activist organization.
