A call for papers has been issued for PaperWeek Canada, the major Canadian gathering for the advancement of the pulp and paper industry. The conference takes place February 2-5, 2015, in Montreal.

A call for papers has been issued for PaperWeek Canada, the major Canadian gathering for the advancement of the pulp and paper industry. The conference takes place February 2-5, 2015, in Montreal.

Mill personnel, suppliers, researchers and experts are encouraged to submit their latest work for presentation in the technical program. The technical program is organized by Session Committees in collaboration with the PaperWeek Program Committee.

Abstract can be either English or French. They should describe the presentation’s purpose, methods, and conclusions and may not exceed 250-350 words. Areas of focus are: bleaching, kraft pulping, dissolving pulp, maintenance, emerging research, mechanical pulping, environment, paperboard packaging, energy cost savings, paper machine maintenance and performance, fibre supply, process control, biorefinery and tissue.

The deadline for abstracts is Sept. 29, 2014. Send the abstract to paperweek@paptac.ca.
