The 2011 State of Canada’s Forests report has been tabled in Parliament and is now available online. This authoritative report provides an overview of Canada’s forests and forest sector, with the latest statistics accompanied by expert trend summaries.
This year, through two complementary web features, readers can find out how investments by the Government of Canada have been contributing to the transformation of the forest sector, and why Canada’s forests need to managed in new ways as the result of market interest in the environmental attributes of forest products.
