Dec. 13, 2017 – At the inaugural Eco-Certifications Appreciation Lunch this week, the Singapore Environment Council (SEC) announced that consumer goods company Kimberly-Clark has become the first to have 12 of its pulp and paper products become certified under the enhanced version of SEC’s Green Labelling Scheme.

Kimberly-Clark, the only company that achieved the certification out of the 13 companies that applied, produces brands like Kleenex, Scott and Wypall.

With more than 3,000 unique products certified across 29 countries, The Singapore Green Labelling Scheme (SGLS) is an eco-labelling scheme that authorizes the use of environmental labels on products indicating overall environmental preferability within a particular product category based on life cycle considerations.
