TAPPICon goes virtual, announces second in-person expo for fall 2021

TAPPI has announced that its 2021 TAPPICon conference will take place virtually this spring, and a second, in-person conference will take place in the fall.
Due to ongoing COVID-19 safety restrictions, TAPPICon Virtual will be held May 4-5 with a curated technical program focusing on time-sensitive topics.
“While we are encouraged by the rollout of the COVID vaccines, we feel it is still prudent to use caution this spring and offer our attendees a virtual event,” says the organization in a statement.
TAPPICon LIVE! will run Oct. 3-6 in Atlanta, Ga. The in-person event includes a comprehensive technical program for the pulp and paper industry addressing key topics about coating and graphic arts, nonwovens, papermaking, PIMA management, process control, maintenance and reliability, recycled paperboard and tissue.
TAPPICon LIVE! also includes multiple networking events and a full trade show.
TAPPICon attendees will also be able to participate in TechTalks, a new feature highlighting specific technologies throughout the summer.
Registration is not yet open, but will be coming soon.
