SKF RELEASES NEW TRAINING SCHEDULE

MONTREAL, QC — SKF has released its 2006 Reliability Maintenance Training Schedule, which includes both general attendance courses, in addition to specific onsite training sessions to match student and employer needs.

VOITH LAUNCHES SOLAR SERIES

APPLETON, WI — Voith Paper Rolls has introduced Solar, a new generation of polyurethane roll covers. SolarPress for press rolls and SolarFLow for suction rolls have polyurethane topstocks with hydrolytic stability and dynamic performance. In a paper machine press section, the covers absorb water and are subjected to cyclical stresses. The Solar series can be configured with surface patterns for improved water removal and paper machine performance.

TIMKEN LAUNCHES SEAL LINE

CANTON, OH — Timken is launching a line of industrial seals in May. The company signed a licensing and supply agreement with Federal-Mogul Corporation to sell its industrial seal products in Canada and the U.S. Timken will market and sell the seals under its own brand, and they will be available exclusively to authorized Timken industrial distributors and select original equipment manufacturers.

The seals are used in a full range of equipment used in many applications such as manufacturing, off-highway, power transmission and oil refineries.
