Note: The following texts by Ivan Pikulik, Richard Berry and Dave McDonald, program managers of papermaking, chemical pulping and mechanical pulping, respectively, detail the workings of three of Paprican’s pilot plants, aptly described by Ron Crotogino in the previous text as being essential to the development work done at the Institute. The pilot bleaching plant and paper machine have recently started up while the new TMP plant will be online soon.
