The Toyota Earth day scholarship program is looking for tomorrow’s environmental leaders. Candidates must be in their graduating year in high school or if in Quebec, must be full-time junior college first-year students. They must demonstrate their passion for the environment through their involvement in their communities. Across the country, 15 winners will receive $5,000 that will be applied directly towards their educational expenses.
A national winner will be selected among the 15 regional winners and will receive an Outstanding Environmental Achievement Award that includes a notebook computer in Toronto on Earth Day on April 22, 2004. Deadline is Feb.27, 2004.
