A 49 year-old man was killed at a paper mill on Sunday, July 3rd. His co-workers, at the Temple-Inland linerboard mill, where he’d worked for 30 years, found Kevin Ross Green dead at roughly 6 a.m. Reports indicate he was killed when trying to replace a rope on the mill’s No. 2 paper machine. He became entangled in the rope and was pulled through the rollers. An autopsy is scheduled for July 5th at a state crime lab in Summerville.
