Twin Rivers apologizes for ClO2 leaks

Twin Rivers Paper Co. has publicly apologized for several leaks of chlorine dioxide that have occurred from its pulp and paper mill in Edmundston, N.B.

According to a story on CBC News, the Twin Rivers plant released chlorine dioxide gas five times. The company says the gas was accidentally released following mechanical failures caused by power outages.
