UPM Raflatac appoints new area sales director for eastern North America

UPM Raflatac has appointed Brinder Gill to its North America sales team as area sales director for the eastern United States and Canada.

Gill joins the company from Silgan Dispensing Systems, where he served as senior manager, global beauty category marketing. He is based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Gill brings to the position more than 10 years of experience in the packaging and logistics industries, with a particular focus on sustainable packaging. He has worked closely with trade groups such as the Association of Plastic Recyclers. Gill graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management.

“I’m honored to join UPM Raflatac’s dynamic and growing North America sales organization,” Gill says in a release. “With my background in sustainable packaging, I know that my knowledge and expertise can help our customers be successful with their customers – the brand owners – and grow their businesses. I’m excited to help us strengthen our reputation as leading sustainable labeling.”
