The US Department of Commerce plans to apply US anti-subsidy legislation against the import of lightweight thermal paper produced in China. The decision buttresses the charge that Chinese producers and exporters of this product received subsidies contrary to international trade agreements, the subsidies ranging from 5.68 to 59.5 percent.
