Voith SkySoft creping blade with ceramic coating

Apr. 12, 2017 – Voith says its SkySoft creping blade will ensure constant tissue quality, describing its “specially developed” ceramic tip as “highly wear-resistant for a longer lifetime and less machine downtime.” According to the company, the SkySoft blades are part of an automated production process which is compatible with all different machine applications and blade holders, adding that SkySoft was also designed to reduce friction on the Yankee cylinder, which help avoid damage to its surface.
