“This award represents a truly global effort for Voith Fabrics,” said Gerry Whiteford, manager. “We look forward to future collaborations and successes with Mondi.
Award contenders were evaluated in terms of quality, (based on the heaviest-weighted category, measured rejection of goods, consistency of products and quality control), service, which focused on technical backup, deliveries, frequency of mill visits, project feedback and teamwork with mill production and technical staff. The third category was price competitiveness, terms, conditions and price stability. Innovation and security accounted for the fourth and final category. Product range and development, R&D, reliability, security of supply and reputation were the items considered for this category.
Voith was also selected as the 100% supplier to the newly-formed Mondi Millenium Newsprint in late June 2004
